oxygen, filtering out pollution, and creating habitats
for wildlife.

Note:
In 2007 Tustin had approximately 16,650 trees and was named
a Tree City USA community by the National Arbor Day Foundation
to honor its commitment to its community forest.
This was the 11th year Tustin had received this national recognition.
Additionally, in 2007, Tustin was awarded the Tree City USA Growth
Award for the 7th consecutive year.
